Online Theory CDL A BTW & Range refers to the theoretical portion of a Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) training that is completed online, while «BTW» stands for «Behind-the-Wheel» and «Range» indicates the practical driving exercises that must be done on a designated training area, requiring in-person instruction with our qualified instructor to practice maneuvers like backing and lane changes; essentially, but the hands-on driving practice must be done on our training range with our teacher. This course covers 30 units for the CDL Class A ELDT as mandated by the FMCSA. Upon completion of this course the results will be submitted to the FMCSA Training Provider Registry. Prior to providing any testing services CDL Testing centers will retrieve these results from the FMCSA Training Provider Registry to confirm that the student has completed this course.
